AIRPORT ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Participants are responsible for booking their own flights to San José. Please book your flight before October 30 and fill out this form. The nearest airport is Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), approximately 30 minutes from Delta Hotel.

• Monday, January 25:​ Please schedule your flight to arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) by 3:00 p.m.
• Friday, January 29:​ Please schedule your flight to depart Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO)​ for the morning or early afternoon.
• Saturday, January 30: International attendees staying for training should book their departure from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) for the morning or early afternoon.

*NOTE:​ It is easy to confuse SJO (Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José, Costa Rica) with SJC (San Jose Mineta International Airport in San Jose, California). Be sure to book your flight to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Costa Rica allows visa-free entry for travelers who hold a US passport or a valid, multi-entry US visa. Most SLC members fall in this category. We are already in direct contact with those who need a Costa Rican visa. While requirements vary by country, we recommend that your passport remain valid for at least 6 months after your travel dates.  If you have specific questions or concerns about visas or entry, please contact us directly.
